Clients and partners are often coming to us, making many a last-minute request or out-of-the-norm character request. Truly we answer the vast majority of these questions with, "Yes, we'll make it happen." For example, just last month, an extra special dancing ballet dancer was requested for a special 2nd birthday. The client wanted every child to be thoroughly engaged, while convincing the parents of the real-ness of the character. Not only did we custom-design the costume from scratch in under two weeks, but the parents were so blown away that they thought she was actually Australian and knew the songs exceptionally well. Next month, we have 4 new custom characters arriving as well!
We are also always ready to answer the calls of the "last-minute" or "emergency" parties. How do we make this happen? The Team! Our team is made up of over 20 members from all over the lower mainland. We have parents, sisters, spouses, friends, colleagues, even league team-mates. Each member is determined to help the team and share the joy that is making magical memories. That's why we are always transparent with our team members and function as much like a co-operative. Each team member always receives their specific tips and is paid fairly. We believe that talented performers who believe in creating joy, who are appreciated, create an amazing team that really can, "Make it Happen!" Of course, we couldn't mention the "Make it Happen" ideal without outlining one of the biggest strengths of Out of the Rain. Two Owners. Two Partners. Twice the customer service. Between Kirsten and Cassandra, we are able to answer all questions almost 24 hrs, 7 days a week. Two minds and a breadth of talents between not only Kirsten and Cassandra, but also the entire team, truly contribute to making it happen.
